On November 1, 2024, Gabala Hospitality Group organized a traditional tree planting event as part of the COP29 framework and the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World," announced in Azerbaijan. The event took place at the Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourism Recreation Complex in the Gabala region, with active participation from employees of all companies within the "Gabala Hospitality Group." This initiative aims to contribute to environmental sustainability and promote the protection of nature.
The tree species planted during the event (beech and alder) were carefully selected to be compatible with the region's ecosystem and to enhance the local environment. Special attention was given to maintaining the ecological balance and ensuring that the greening efforts were carried out in an environmentally friendly manner.
In addition to its commitment to providing high-quality services in tourism and hospitality, Gabala Hospitality Group prioritizes corporate social responsibility, always placing a strong emphasis on environmental protection. Creating a sustainable, green world for future generations is a central pillar of the Group's sustainability policy.
Shabnam Farman, CEO of Gabala Hospitality Group, spoke at the event, underscoring the importance of the initiative: "As part of nature, and living in its embrace, we have a responsibility to care for it more than anyone else. This action is a step towards a sustainable future, and it strengthens our employees' commitment to nature."
Gabala Hospitality Group remains dedicated to maintaining ecological balance and expanding green spaces in the region through its ongoing tree planting campaigns. These efforts are also aimed at fostering greater environmental awareness and encouraging people to value nature more deeply.
